Waste Connection of the Carolinas’ future waste transfer station was delivered to its new home on Monday morning. The 6,750 square foot Pre-Engineered Metal Building, by Nucor Building Systems, was trucked on four flatbeds from Swansea, SC to the site near the Monroe Airport. The site will also be the home of Union County’s first, and only, compressed natural gas fueling station.
