Chiron America

Chiron America selected S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. to design and construct the 20,000 SF warehouse and manufacturing area expansion of their Charlotte facility.  Special consideration was taken with the floor system to accommodate Chiron’s machinery.  The heavy duty concrete floor, without control joints, is reinforced with steel fiber and is capable of supporting an 87,000 lb axle load.  The floor system, by TWINTEC USA, Inc., is the first of its kind in Mecklenburg County.
