On April 17, 1970, Structural Engineer Spiro C. Hondros, a visionary and pioneer of the design-build method of project delivery, filed the Articles of Incorporation for S. C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. During the past 50 years, hundreds of projects, totaling millions of square feet, have been designed and built in North Carolina and South Carolina under the Hondros name.
Throughout our company’s history we have experienced many challenges including 9/11, the great recession, hurricanes and floods. We navigated those events together and together we will navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our clients, employees, associates, and colleagues are the reason we have weathered those turbulent times, and they are the reason we are able to celebrate 50 years in business this year. Today, our thoughts and prayers are with our clients, employees, families, friends and communities during this crisis.
