Honeywell Safety Products

S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. contracted with Honeywell to design and build an expansion to their Clover, South Carolina manufacturing facility.  The expanded area totaled 20,500 SF which included 3,000 SF of office space on the ground floor and 3,000 SF of office shell space on a mezzanine.

The site development portion of the project included a 110 space asphalt parking lot and incorporated an asphalt additive created by the Owner, to be tested at the facility.  A new main entrance was built to serve the existing and new office area and a separate entrance was built for the plant area.  Special considerations were made with the fire protection system, fire-proofing of the building, and points of egress due to the hazardous occupancy (H-2) designation.
