S. C. Hondros & Associates, Inc. recently completed a 15,836 sq. ft. building expansion for Okaya Shinnichi Corporation of America, a manufacturer of stainless steel tubing in southwest Charlotte. The Pre-Engineered Metal Building, by Nucor Building Systems, features translucent wall panels to provide natural light in the space. Special considerations to deal with unsuitable soils and a pile foundation system was installed to stabilize the site.
